FAQ

Common questions

Can’t find your answer? Speak to a consultant.

Which free zone is cheapest?

SHAMS, SPC and RAKEZ offer the lowest starting packages, from around AED 5,750. Dubai zones such as IFZA and Meydan start around AED 12,500 and include more visas and a Dubai address.

Can a free zone company trade with mainland customers?

Service companies generally can. For goods, you sell to the mainland through a distributor or by paying customs duty on entry. A dual licence or mainland branch is the alternative.

How many visas can I get?

It depends on the package and office. Flexi desks typically allow one to six visas; physical offices increase the quota.

Do I need to visit the UAE?

Several zones issue the licence remotely. You must be present for the visa medical and Emirates ID biometrics.
